BallRacing Developments has designed the new Simulator Pod to meet the requirements of clients for whom space is of primary importance. It has also been designed for ease of transport and operation without, due to BRD’s force-feeback steering controls and high-quality pedal controls, compromising the essential experience of the interactive driving experience for which BRD product is internationally renown. As an added feature, the rear of the Simulator Pod can also be used to create an attractive and eye-catching display for promotional material or an audience-viewing screen.

Maximum realism through BRD’s force-feedback steering controls as used in the full-size BRD-05 car and BRD-05 cockpit.

Headphones for maximum driver flexibility in usage and minimum noise interference.
A composite/Kevlar seat upholstered in hardwearing black Rock fabric and mounted on adjustable runners to accommodate the height of most drivers.
A 17” TFT flat wide screen panel to display game images (it can also double as a TV screen and for video/DVD images).
A single electrical socket connection - all that is required - to operate the unit.
Built-in light and lighting effects.
Castors for ease of movement.
Option of stand-alone positioning to enable the rear of the pod to be fitted with racks for promotional material or additional screen for promotional or audience-viewing screen.
Construction:
Made of brushed stainless steel tubing with inlay panels of brushed stainless steel, which can be etched or laser cut with logos. The bottom section consists of inlay panels of brushed aluminium sheet and, where the pedals are fitted, the cover is a rice grain-effect aluminium. On either side of the bottom section of the pod, hinged door panels allow access to the computer console and electronic/electrical equipment. All necessary cables and power protection/circuit breakers are to CE standards and built-in. The seat base contains useful storage space.
Cost:
Price on application. A non-brushed stainless steel version is available at a lower cost.
Delivery:
Lead-time is approximately 4-6 weeks from the day of order. BRD is able to organise the packing and shipping of any of its products by road, sea or air to any part of the world. We can also arrange the supply of re-usable flights cases if required.
