A little wordy, but it accurately sums up the philosophy of Ball Racing Development’s design division: viewing the client’s requirements from the client’s perspective to design and develop an effective solution.

And in developing the design of a simulator, whether it is for an F1 team, a conversion for a motor company promoting a global brand at a motor show, hydroplane racing boat simulators, or a driver-training road car for a driving school, there is no problem that BRD's Design and Technical Division cannot resolve to the client’s satisfaction.

This ‘can-do’ ethos has seen the Design and technical Division develop its own creative solutions when particular components crucial to a design have not been available - and which has led to some BRD solutions being subject to patents.

To be sure of quick turnarounds and highly-accurate models, BRD uses the latest Unigraphics 3D CAD software – used, in fact, by many of the race teams and car manufacturers - running on Hewlett Packard workstations. Unigraphics has the facility to interface/exchange data directly with client CAD systems using, for example, STEP203, STEP 214, IGES, DXF, DWG, PARASOLID, and STL files.
