Responsible for production processes, supplier relations and quality assurance, Jonathan joined BallRacing Developments in 1998 after two years as a systems installation technician with a sound engineering company in Ashtead, Surrey, during which time he completed a City and Guilds sound engineering course at Westminster College, London.

His principal responsibility is overseeing the build of BRD’s range of simulators, especially electrical installations. He said: "The electronics have been pretty much standardised, although each job can throw up its own little idiosyncrasies. The constant challenge is in making sure that everything we build comes up to the company's high standards in every detail, and all the more so when we are building to a tight deadline, which is often the case."

To Jon, the pursuit of perfection is the guiding principal behind the company’s operations, and he therefore sees the continuous review of production processes as essential.

His recreational pursuits are sailing, windsurfing, walking and cycling.
