A former associate member of the Institute of Bankers, and member of the Association of Project Managers, with diplomas in Management Studies and Organisation and Methods, Roger spent 32 years with an international financial services group, mainly in IT, leaving in 1992 as project manager responsible for the research and development of share option services for major blue chip companies. He became a consultant in share option development services for major stockbrokers before founding BallRacing Developments Ltd in 1994.

He enjoys sailing and reading; is a former church administrator and is a director and Secretary of the International Christian Chamber of Commerce in the UK. Father of five children, four of whom work at BRD.
