Following the curing process, the part or component is taken to the Trimming Room where it is removed from the mould by BRD’s skilled trimmers to remove all excess material. The part is then prepared for final fitting through the addition of any holes or fixings, such as inserts, fasteners or any other items.

The fitting area is equipped with an IDC vacuum bench for the fast and efficient removal of trimming dust and waste. A wide range of the various air tools and necessary machine tools are fitted and used in the Trimming Room.

The finished moulding is taken to the fitting area where it is assembled to produce the finished component.
