The laminating and bagging area comprises 900 square feet of air-conditioned environment held at 18 - 20 degrees Centigrade to ensure any risk of de-lamination due to cure on lay-up is entirely eliminated. A walk-in cold store is used for general material storage of all material not in production process and is held at -18 degrees Centigrade until required. A large cutting table with material racks is used to manage the thawing process and cutting of component kits.
Finally the part and mould are vacuum bagged using specialist bagging consumables, and then either cured or placed in the cold store for storage, depending on material characteristics. |
